Party Wall Services was established in January 2010 by Vicky Dewey-Bruce and Paul Fawell. Our fist year has been very successful and we are pleased with the progress we have made, particularly given the current financial climate.
So here’s a little bit about us, Vicky Dewey-Bruce achieved a diploma in Building Surveying following a two year course at Reading College in 2000-2002. She went on to undertake her TechRics which she achieved in 2004 and as subsequently been replaced with the letters AssocRICS, a technical qualification in Building Surveying given by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. In 2006 she completed her degree with the Open University. She has worked in both the public and private sector and has specialised in neighbouring issues for over 6 years.
Paul Fawell is also the founder of Right of Light Consulting Ltd which was established in 2003. Paul is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. He completed his degree in surveying at the University of Reading in 1999. Paul has worked in private practices for a total of 11 years. Prior to setting up Right of Light Consulting, Paul worked as a quantity surveyor. Paul has been specialising in Rights of Light – another critical neighbouring issue – for over 8 years, and is able to offer a valuable perspective on party wall projects.
